Welcome to CruiseNReview!

Updated: Jan 4, 2023

This is the beginning of what I hope is a long journey. A journey that stems from a long time dream.

Since I was old enough to remember, I have loved travel. I was fortunate to have a family that traveled often and even as a young kid, the wonder of wandering was in my blood.

2006 was a great year. I started high school, the St. Louis Cardinals won their first World Series since 1982, and I went on my first cruise. Despite that being nearly 17 years ago, I can almost remember every detail:

Ship: Mariner of the Seas

Itinerary: 7-Night Western Caribbean from Port Canaveral

Ports: Labadee (Pre-Dock), Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel

Date: March 26, 2006

Cruise Director: James Andrews

Captain: Johnny Faevelen

Told you. I'm a nerd for this stuff, friends. I've been on 17 cruises since with cruise number 19 planned in February. Each one has been special, each is etched in my memory like a movie on Netflix that you're watching for the 50th time.

I married my wife (Audrey) in 2016. Luckily for me, she had a similar passion for adventure and fell in love with cruising after her first trip in 2012. She'll be a contributor to our site as well.

To bring this full circle, it's been a dream of mine to create a community of travel lovers just like myself. I've always wanted to do it, but never made the time. Now, I'm making the time.

As I said earlier, this will be a long, evolving journey. Currently, we are working through gaining our travel agent licenses and will be able to help you plain your dream vacations soon. That's the end goal. For now, it's about traveling, cruising, and reviewing.

Through this website, we'll keep you up-to-date on travel news along with sharing reviews and tips for your next adventure.

We're going to keep it real, light-hearted, and accurate.

I want this to be a community. I want your feedback and your opinions. You can contact us at info@cruisenreview.com to connect. Another way to reach out is through our contact us page.

We can't wait to share our adventures with you. Thank you for taking the time to share in our wonder for wandering.

Let's get started. Bon Voyage!
